Our Story

Hello, I'm Suzanne.  As a lifelong crafter, I discovered glass fusion on a weekend workshop and became instantly hooked. 

The transformation from individual sharp and brittle glass pieces into something whole, smooth and tactile is quite magical. Glass poses endless possibilities to play with light, colour and texture.

I opened a small studio and workshop called Little Beach Boutique in a fisherman's arch on Brighton seafront in 2012, and began to make and sell my creations. 

I moved Little Beach Boutique to the North Laine in 2014, when it evolved into a gift shop as well as a workspace, and I began hosting glass fusion workshops to share my passion for glass.

My creations are inspired by the world around me; the beach, the Brighton skyline and the Sussex coast. I use screen-printing in lots of my work and love the combination of different techniques. 

Everything is kiln-fired in my small home studio.

 

Little Beach Boutique is now exclusively online, and my glass creations can be made to order and personalised on request. I have curated a selection of popular products from some of the makers I have worked with over the years which continue to be posted worldwide.

From Spring 2023, I will be hosting my glass fusion workshops here at home, near the seafront in Hove, where I hope you will fall in love with glass too!
