brighton design design led handmade homeware joanna corney lampshades lighting local makers pavilion starlings

One of the things we love the most about Brighton is the number of talented local designers based here, and we are delighted to be stocking the work of one of the best, Joanna Corney, who screenprints her Brighton inspired illustrations onto a range of stylish homeware.

We have just started stocking Joanna's lampshades which feature some of Brighton's beloved buildings and captures the character of the seafront, such as this stylish beach hut lampshade, complete with deckchair, synonymous with a lazy day in the beach.

This starling lampshade represents the stunning shapes made by the murmurations before they come to roost on the West Pier during the winter months.

We love this deco design, inspired by the 1930s architecture along Brighton seafront. Handmade into a lampshade, this timeless design is perfect for a retro or contemporary home.

These lampshades are all available in Little Beach Boutique and will be available to buy online very soon.  Handmade in Brighton, they can be produced in other colourways, and are available as ceiling light pendants or floor base lampshades.

Each lampshade is made with screen printed cotton fabric, and bonded to a fire retardant PVC backing with rolled edges. All lampshades are handmade in Brighton.

Each lampshade is made from UV stable and flame retardant PVC which has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. 40 watt bulb recommended

Available in a choice of two sizes:

20cm diameter x 20cm height (8" x 8")

30cm diameter x 22cm height (12" x 9")

It is also available with either a lamp base fitting or a ceiling pendant fitting

You can view the full range and buy Joanna Corney Lampshades online at http://www.joannacorney.co.uk
