Little Beach Boutique

This week I was delighted to be featured in the Brighton Argus discussing how useful it can be for a small business such as mine to have an online presence.  The article was part of a Government campaign called  Do More Online, which aims to encourage small business owners to take the plunge and launch their businesses online, though their own website as well as social media. 

 

I realised when I first opened Little Beach Boutique that I needed a website, as customers like to research before they visit, or in advance a purchase. I managed to build this one myself by myself using a fairly simple template through Shopify.  I am not at all tech savvy, but over a period of a few months, I felt quite fluent with updating products, adding collections and updating our blog.  If I can do it anybody can!  It's really good to have another way for customers to reach you, especially if you are a start up or a new business, and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money.

 

I've also been learning to navigate the worlds of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook which are great ways to engage with people, launch new products and find inspiration!
