I'm really pleased to announce the first dates for our new glass and ceramic courses starting soon here at Little Beach Boutique! We will be running friendly and inspiring workshops in our downstairs workspace here in Brighton's North Laine.
The "Introduction to Fused Glass Making" will be led by myself, Suzanne, over two Sundays in October and then November. I will be teaching all the basics in fused glass - it's lots of fun learning how to cut glass for the first time!
You'll be given lots of ideas and inspiration for making your own glass pieces, initially making your own samples in the first session, for me to fire during the week. On the second day, you'll have plenty of time to make your own works of art - will that be jewellery, coasters, a dish, or a wall panel...it's up to you!
Next is a ceramic workshop led by Lisa of Lubilou Ceramics. She'll be showing you how to cut shapes and roll clay, add texture and make your very own Christmas Decorations. It promises to be festive and fabulous!
